The second meeting of the Food Product Professional Committee of the Second National Food Safety Standards Evaluation Committee was held in Beijing on November 20-21, 2019. The meeting was co-chaired by Zhang Yonghui, chairman of the Food Products Sub-Committee, and Wang Jun, vice chairman. The meeting schedule was compact. Members worked overtime and reviewed nine national food safety standards. Four of them passed the review, and were further revised and improved in accordance with the comments of the meeting. The five standards needed to be revised and reviewed again.
